UKI NFC (Not for Competition)

I went to Palmetto for a UKI trial recently and I was amazed at how many took advantage of the NFC option at the trial. You can use the trial like a run through. All you have to do is let them know before you enter the ring and you can train your dog in the ring with a non-squeaking toy for the maximum course time. Also, I noticed that once you have an off course, you are eliminated and the judge no longer judges (often kibitzing with the table) and you can do some training in the ring (without the toy of course). You can train your dog in trial conditions.

It was definitely more laid back than the typical AKC trial at Palmetto.

There will be another UKI trial under cover at Palmetto on April 23&24. The online entries close on April 14.
